Re-Verify?

What causes one to have to verify again? I Verified yesterday and have been in LindenXploders all day. They are all verify. The all the sudden, after entering the same one several times successfully, it told me I had to verify. How did I lose verification?

Verification occurs daily - and was meant to occur daily from the beginning, at first it did work however something broke along the line - it's up and working again.

I understand the reason behind this new verify everyday process, but is this solution to the problem create another problem?

To me, this is like someone bomb an airplane, now we have to take off all our clothes every time we pass a hallway.

Here's the problem for most people. You see a big pot at XYZ sim, you jump to the sim, scramble to join group. There are sixty people clicking the spolder at the same time. It is so lag, the spolder never give you the verify link before timeout.

This verify everyday solution might keep some bots out, but it also turn some people off. I can see that it is not a problem for some "profession" hunters that hunt everyday, every hours; but for some casual hunters, this make use miss the pot.

Is there other solutions out there?
Could this be verify every week? verify every month?
Could we borrow camping chair anti-bot solution? Answer a first grade math question before you can enter? Click the correct word before you can enter?

I'm sure there are solutions that doesn't punish the legit spolder hunters.

The simple solution is to get the copy of the HUD and click the login button, it will verify you for the next 24 hours

To be clear - if you had to answer a dialog menu just to enter the script would pause for 2 seconds for every individual click - verified or not, this is a time restriction linden lab put in place.

I'm sure wearing an extra HUD is an elegant solution, should works flawlessly in those non-scripts plot too. You idea is we should verify every time we login to SL regardless whether we will hit the spolders or not.

How did you determine verify every 24 hours is the most effective? You could verify every time you click the spolder, You could verify every hour, You could verify every 168 hours, or every 720 hours?
So How did you come up with the magic every 24 hours?

I'm sure I'm not the only one think this is a little overkill. This is madness

King all I can say is look at the verified xploders, they have next to no (if any) bots in them. You only have to wear the HUD once per day, I do believe that it shouldn't be hard to find script-enabled land before you go off hunting.

I guess what I do not understand from this is that everyone checks the tracker several (maybe even hundreds) of times in a day. The only problem this should be a problem for is bot owners. When the tracker is already being checked that much in a day, what is loading one additional URL throughout the day?

We can see the results,no more bots in verified xploders while before the verification update there where lots of verified bots.

Maybe Janet Landar wasnt verified but she never was the only bot tbh.

Bots like Ferzihna Finesmith where once verified though,and we dont see her or her companions in verified xploders anymore.

saddly, verification is not efective anti bot now. Bots owners, finally, found how to by pass xploder verification.

I can see in a lot of verified xploders how bots go in and make a lot of money. I think is very simple: User has DSL connection, log one bot, verified. reconnect (whit another IP), verified other bot and so., He (or she) has verified all your bots for 24 hours.

All of them are know bots. This happened in NoTtAmBuLa DiScO cLuB, Region: Authuruga and with xploder set to verified (1). Happend in others verified xploder (and xploder group with verification) too.

Verify is annoying, but is, may be, the best to control bots. Until now. I dont know how to stop bots, but I think that, as TMY say, while LL look at other side, nobody can do anything about it.

  .... k, hands up, i accept i must be completely dumb but pls how on earth does one verify .. i click on the bag, it kicks me off, says i need to verify, do it now, sure absolutely, click the verify button ... and then what ??!!! i'm at this site just seeing a whole pile of comments and stuff ... where is there abything about actually 'verifying' ??  i'm posting this coz this issue with me has gone on for so long with never geting any help or assistance from those on the ground ..
any help or comments or just a simple explanation of what to do would truly be appreciated, please

As to reverifying,..how about not being able to verify at all? Each time I try,it ignores me,and then kicks me off the eploder! Got any ideas here? What am I DOING WRONG.
